Proyecto centrado en el análisis y reflexión del paisaje entendido como construcción, fraguado en una residencia artística Berlin Art Instituted en la ciudad de Berlín. Una investigación entorno a sus montañas artificiales que fueron construidas con el escombro de la Segunda Guerra mundial y que en la actualidad poseen una apariencia natural, aunque esconde su pasado sedimentado en su interior a modo de amalgama de capas de memoria que pasan desapercibidas para la mayoría de los visitantes.

Con el material fotográfico se realizó una instalación escultótica, una recreación tridimensional del paisaje partiendo de la experiencia personal de documentación y revisión de estos lugares evidenciando su artificialidad. Cada imagen pertenece a una ubicación diferente pero por su interrelación coexisten configurando un mismo cuerpo compositivo, un paisaje mental inexistente que nos traslada a la experiencia personal en el lugar.

Presentamos una acumulación de fotografías, materiales y estructuras utilizando la acumulación como estrategia creativa simulando la forma que el material aguarda a ser utilizado. Por otro lado se descomponen los diferentes elementos que componen la imagen como soporte, bastidor y marco así como también su orden preestablecido. Con todo ello creando una forma que recuerda al momento previo de la construcción evidenciando la artificialidad del discurso donde se difumina la jerarquía.

Project focused on the analysis and reflection of the landscape understood as a construction, forged during an artistic residency at the Berlin Art Institute in the city of Berlin. An investigation surrounding its artificial mountains, which were built with rubble from the Second World War and now have a natural appearance, although they conceal their sedimented past within, forming an amalgam of layers of memory that go unnoticed by most visitors.

With photographic material, a sculptural installation was created, a three-dimensional recreation of the landscape based on the personal experience of documenting and reviewing these places, highlighting their artificiality. Each image belongs to a different location, but through their interrelation, they coexist to form a single compositional body, a non-existent mental landscape that transports us to the personal experience of the place.

We present an accumulation of photographs, materials, and structures, using accumulation as a creative strategy, simulating the way the material waits to be used. On the other hand, the different elements that make up the image, such as support, frame, and canvas, are broken down, as well as their pre-established order, creating a form reminiscent of the moment prior to construction, highlighting the artificiality of the discourse where hierarchy is blurred.
